Program Overview
& Introduction
The Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program (ECRCP) is a modern citizenship by investment programme established to support climate resilience, national infrastructure, and long-term economic diversification through direct contributions to the Nauru Treasury Fund.
Unlike many citizenship programmes that focus on tourism or real estate investment, Nauru’s programme is built around a national strategy of sustainable development and sovereign resilience. Applications are administered through licensed agents and follow a structured government review process that includes due diligence, interviews, and official approval procedures.
The programme is particularly suitable for internationally mobile individuals seeking a politically neutral second citizenship in the Pacific region. It offers a streamlined application process, no physical residency requirement, and an official processing timeline of approximately three to four months.
It is important to note that although the programme previously offered a temporary discounted contribution for applications submitted before 30 June 2026, official government guidance now identifies the standard contribution amounts as the applicable reference unless the Programme Office announces otherwise.
